The IATDMCT 2025 Congress offers a range of engaging social events for all delegates. You can sign up for these events during the registration process. If you have already registered and would like to attend a social event, please email the congress organisers at iatdmct2025@expertevents.com.au.
During the registration process you will be able to advise of any dietary and special requirements.
Welcome Reception
Join us at the Welcome Reception for an evening of networking, light refreshments, and an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to set the stage for a productive and engaging conference. We look forward to seeing you there!

Morning River Run
Start your congress week on the right foot! Lace up your runners and join fellow delegates for a casual morning run along the scenic river route. Choose your distance, 3km, 5km, or 10km and enjoy the fresh air, light exercise, and great company. All fitness levels welcome.

Cost: This is a free activity open to all registered congress delegates. No registration required — just turn up and run!
Morning Yoga
Join us for a refreshing morning yoga session, exclusively for IATDMCT congress delegates! This free activity is the perfect way to energise your body and mind before a full day of congress sessions. All fitness levels are welcome.
When: Monday 22 September 2025
Time: 6:30am – 7:15am
Where: Kim Seng Park – just a 5-minute walk from the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel
Cost: This is a free activity open to all registered congress delegates.
What to bring: A yoga mat or towel
Spots are limited – registration is essential to secure your spot! Register online or if you are already registered to the congress, email iatdmct2025@expertevents.com.au to secure your spot.
Young Scientist Dinner
We invite our young scientist attendees to a special social event. Enjoy drinks and canapes at Harry’s at Singapore’s iconic Clarke Quay, network with leaders in your field, and then finish the night with a karaoke session with your new comrades (an IATDMCT tradition) from 10:30pm – 12:30am. We hope to see you there!

Ticket are limited and price includes food platters and a drink on arrival.
Tickets are only available to attendees 40 years and under.
Congress Dinner
Renowned for its award-winning seafood dishes, including the legendary chili crab, our congress dinner at the iconic waterfront Jumbo East Coast Parkway is a night not to be missed! Limited tickets available. Non seafood menu available upon request.

Where: Jumbo East Coast Parkway
Cost: SGD140/person
Dress code: Smart casual
Ticket are limited and price includes return bus transfers from the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, 8 course banquet and drinks.
For attendees wishing to keep the festivities going, the bus will make a stop at Clarke Quay on the return journey, offering guests the chance to experience Singapore’s vibrant nightlife. It’s just a short 20-minute walk from the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.
Please note we have a private function room on Level 2 but access is only via stairs (no lift).
